LONDON…If at first glance it seemed that Marios Schwab had moved on from his ground-breaking stance last spring with its exploration of veins and tissue through fabric manipulation and digital prints, it quickly became clear that the subject of his inspiration remains the same, the human form. This time out he created ultra long and skinny second skins to be worn over or under other pieces that were classic in nature; for instance, a pair of blue jeans, a cropped version of a pea jacket and a long haired fur jacket. If the delicate jersey body-stockings are not the easiest things to wear they certainly make a significant fashion point, heralding the return of long, ankle-grazing lengths.
