It was a big night for LeBron ‘The King’ James, as he shared his future fate with the rest of the world during a live one-hour special press conference. And it was obvious that his decision didn’t come without plenty of contemplation. So it’s official, LeBron James will be joining Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh to play for the Miami Heat. Wow!
There is much excitement, to say the least, for this “big three” collaboration on the court come next season. Heat president Pat Riley, is banking on his “triple pack of skill”, hoping that this will pave the path towards the dynasty for Miami. The feeling being more than mutual for LeBron – his main focus is winning championships and being with a team of players that can do so, something he was unable to accomplish in his seven year stay with the Cavaliers.
Change is inevitable, but one thing is for certain, the headband will continue to be his staple. Not many are able to pull it off and by the looks of his style choices over the years, he should have no problem fitting in with the South Beach crowd or, if we had it our way, New York City’s Knicks. After all, how many athletes can say they’ve graced the cover of Vogue, standing beside supermodel Gisele Bundchen?
During his press conference last night, LeBron’s was right on trend, sporting a dusty purple gingham button-front shirt. So hot….get ready Miami, because he’s ‘a comin’!
