It’s the last weekend of summer. If you’re lucky enough to be spending it in the Hamptons, drown your sorrow over this terrible fact at the charming Montauk Brewing Company. Open since June, the East End’s latest microbrewery is the baby of three high school friends, all graduates of East Hampton High. These local boys done good have been focusing on producing only one beer, a super-drinkable American style ESB (Extra Special Bitter), but will be branching out soon. Stop by their gallery/taproom to try a pint or four, fill up a growler to go and admire the artwork gracing the walls, then get ready to give summer a good-bye squeeze.
