Alexandre Plokhov who now designs Versace’s menswear proved that a collection can be relaxed in design and soft of hand but still pack a punch when it comes to the details. The result was a series of loose shapes, from drawstring pants to bomber jackets plus tuxedos that sit away from the body in soft shades of washed silk and cotton. Details were clean and precise including a striking diagonally closing storm flap on a trench and just one graphic throughout, a heavy coil of smoke printed on tees and tanks.
