To see how the dress, shoe or bag takes you on a journey, or transports you to another world. That’s where these Instagram accounts come in. Going beyond the photo are these fashion enthusiasts using their illustrations to convey the feeling of each piece, and highlighting the true impact of art in fashion.

The popular Instagram fashion star, was an interior designer first. Now she uses her keen eye to match her fashion style to the backdrop of iconic, colourful paintings, blurring the line between fashion and art.

Fashion illustrator Megan (known on instagram as travelwritedraw ) translates the catwalk images she sees into stunning illustrations that capture the imagination. Watch out for her sketching on a front row near you!

This New York city based illustrator (known as Paper Fashion)  is just as likely to be watching in the audience at fashion week and at the ballet. She brings all creative forms together, creating fashion illustrations that are inspired by the world around her.
