New York…Robert Geller
Robert Geller is one of the downtown sect’s most beloved designers for tailored sportswear. The only working designer left from Cloak, his audience demands a lot, and Geller consistently delivers. This season, it’s Eastern Europe and a nomadic type of musician that define the inspiration. His palette is moodily dark with black, grey and white often finding emphasis through the use of wide stripes. The trouser fit is particularly notable with its tightness, longer rise and extra length. The vest and rolled cuff short seen all this week were present here also. A key style point is the layering of short over longer lengths.
