The colours, the architecture, the people and the vibe. This is your window into life in Havana right now, by WGSN Youth Editor Sarah Owen
As US and Cuban ties continue to be restored, myself and Think Tank editor Andrea Bell headed down to Havana last week to scope out all the happenings.
While the talk about limited wifi was true (and costly) we spammed our @WGSN Instagram feed on our return from Cuba, knowing too well that those Caribbean colours and classic cars would cause a double-tap frenzy among our followers.
From meeting a wholesome and passionate skate crew to getting lost in the antique wonderland known as “Johnny’s”, we truly found ourselves immersed in the more authentic aspect of Havana, where tourists were scarce and local conversations flowing.
NEED INSPIRATION? WGSN publishes 350 in-depth reports each month. That’s a seriously awe-inspiring amount of inspiration. Find out more here.
