Although everyone tries to get their hand in the NYFW honey pot, only some really get it right. Refinery 29 has opened the preview gates to their immersive and uber-colourful project, 29Rooms and, to the excitement of myself and associate digital editor Sam Aldenton, they got it right.

Creative Director and founding partner, Piera Gelardi walked us through the unique space, each room created by artists such as Petra Collins, Charlotte Tilbury, Danielle Levitt, and Shantell Martin, and each one very shareable on Instagram. “We’re always thinking about the social gift for projects like this,” says Piera. “I feel like I’m in heaven.” So did a handful of other journalists frantically snapping the interactive funhouse to share the gift on.
