Kate Middleton’s royal wedding dress was finally unveiled this morning when she walked down the aisle in a dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The bride’s wedding look drew comparisons to Princess Grace of Monaco’s, as both women’s gowns were lacey with full sleeves. Kate turned to Alexander McQueen again for footwear, and the 1936 diamond Cartier tiara that held up her veil was borrowed from the Queen. Many of the wedding guests also sported buzz-worthy looks; monochromatic styling and quirky headwear were notable trends among attendees. Stylesight will further explore the royal wedding looks in a report coming out next week, so stay tuned!
