With the festive party season well underway, the season of feasting, late nights and packed social calendars can take a toll on the skin resulting in dull and dehydrated complexions. To combat lackluster skin, here are five essentials to see you through the festive season and into the New Year.

1. Bright Eyes
The eyes are the first telltale signs of late night parties or sleepless nights. One of my secret weapons to restore tired and dark circles is Chantecaille’s Gold Energising Eye Recovery Mask. Fans of the brand will know that the products are not cheap, but the results are worth every penny. The all-natural seaweed eye masks come in little sachets and contain 24K gold and silk, peptides and hyaluronic acid pro vitamin B5 to restore radiance and de-puff eyes.

2. Beauty Sleep in a Bottle
When my skin needs a little extra boost, Sarah Chapman’s Skinesis Overnight Facial is my ultimate go-to beauty product. Applied before bedtime, this product is infused with a cocktail blend of vitamins, antioxidants and omega oils which leaves my skin plumped and refreshed when I wake up in the morning. Eight hours sleep in a bottle.

3. Magic Cream
A good base is the most important step to achieving flawless skin. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to follow the Korean women’s 10-step routine, however, two of the steps I never skip are cleansing and moisturizing. I am currently loving Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream – a cream that the make-up artist made herself and has been using backstage to give models beautiful fresh and glowing skin.

4. Water Essence
There is always a cult beauty product that never fails to let you down when your skin is not looking at its best. SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence does the job for me every time. This light, water-based formula contains over 90% pitera, a miracle ingredient that injects moisture into the skin leaving it fresh and clear. I also love the new limited edition bottle, which is decorated with red butterflies.

5. Glow Getter
December is the busiest time of the year, but that doesn’t mean my skincare routine has to suffer as a consequence. I still find the time to fit in a weekly mask and the one I’ve been using is Sisley’s Radiant Glow Express Mask. What I like about this product is that it does what it says on the bottle. It purifies and cleanses the skin in less than 5 minutes and my face is left soft and glowing afterwards.
