Vogue Germany is showing some major denim love with the May 2010 issue. Beyond the Victoria Beckham cover, readers can gorge on a wealth of the season’s denim styles.
For starters, the rag’s “Stoff-Art” (Fabric Art) editorial features model Catherine McNeil wearing one-off pieces designed exclusively for Vogue Germany by the likes of Ralph Lauren, Diesel, Pepe Jeans and Calvin Klein. The in-studio spread was shot by Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer and styled by Nicola Knels.
Top model Magdalena Frackowiak was captured by Horst Diekgerdes in a bohemian, motorcycle-clad shoot entitled “Feel Free”. Called a “modern homage to the Sixties”, Editor Julia von Boehm paired vintage dungarees with some of spring’s signature pieces from Miu Miu, Lanvin and Prada.
