Thakoon brings a taste of Tahiti to New York

New York: The French-Polynesian island of Tahiti stimulated Thakoon Panichugal’s creativity resulting in a collection infused with the flavors of the South Pacific. A Bohemian vibe was evident in the ease of each piece, subtle textures, and fringe trim. Tropical botancials made an appearance in the form of wallpaper prints and line drawn illustrations. Open shoulders, strapless and plunging necklines added a sensuous dynamic throughout the presentation. –Deirdre Pérez
