New York…Tim Hamilton
A bit more polished and tailored than previous seasons, New York darling, Tim Hamilton, took us back to the extravagant ’80s when New Wave music dominated our airwaves and determined our style. Boots and shoes were as glossy as a soldier’s in the army. Hamilton claimed his specific inspiration was the Austrian Arts & Crafts movement, which would make sense seeing that the line contained a geometric patchwork knit, color blocked v-neck, and a floral tapestry coat. Cropped long johns in silky-feeling cotton and extreme tapered wool pants were the bottoms of choice, adding definite interest to his usual knack for unconventional layers.
