A hop, skip and a jump from the bustling shopping area of Stureplan comes Snickarbacken 7 to breathe fresh air into Stockholm’s retail scene.
Started by a passionate group of five entrepreneurs comes this new retail experience for this Swedish city. For starters, it is housed in what was once a Catholic girls school and stable for horses that belonged to monk’s in 1800’s. The old barn’s history is as long as the space is enchanting. The rustic nature of the interior, handsome church-like vaults, striking stone floors and antique wooden doors, perfectly complement the contemporary edge of the merchandise and artwork. The space houses a clothing store, interior shop, cafe and art gallery all under one roof. Lectures, furniture releases and exhibitions constantly refresh the space encouraging weekly and even daily visits.
