The Stylesight Graphic’s team loves the wonderfully mystical artworks of Tatiana Kazakova, which have been popping up on a number of print and illustration blogs recently.
This Russian graphic designer’s artworks have a dark but beautiful look to them. Her work mixes birds, fishes, bees, trees and floral blooms in dense, wonderfully inky greens, purples and pales pinks.
Her recent work seems to be inspired by traditional Japanese watercolor painting and visual techniques. Kazakova has created some magical dream-like lands with flower clouds, floating birds and bumblebees. Her work has intense detail and beauty, but within it lie hints of dark and sinister undertones.
