Last weekend, while some of us were watching teenagers get cheap tattoos in rainy Brooklyn, we had Stylesight operatives posted up at Tampa Pro 2010. Predictably, contest killers like Sheckler and Nyjah had strong showings, while tech android Paul Rodriguez won the big cheese. Um, where was Chris Cole?
Anyway, the contest also confirmed our suspicions that Baker associates Neckface and Deathwish are still kings of the kids, with Nasty Neck’s creepy monsters murals showing up all over the course and on tee shirts everywhere, while everyone from old beardos to teenyboppers were representing Deathwish and Shake Junt.
In other contest news, big popping young buck Torey Pudwill had huge weekend, finishing sixth in the contest, second in best trick, all while being unveiled as Plan B’s latest rider. New teammates and company OGs Pat Duffy and Colin McKay were spotted repping their boy by wearing tee shirts with huge pictures of his face on them.
