Just days before his upcoming show Wang—the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s winner—said, “We’re evolving,” when asked about his direction. “We’re asking: What does growing up mean for our girl?” According to his fall collection, maturing in style means highly tailored looks accented with luxurious leather fringe, foxtails and crocodile. Sleek sheath dresses were worn over opaque and wet-look leggings with high-heeled croc booties. Slim pencil skirts and tailored blazers looked polished and the wide-brim hat featured a chin-sweeping draped wool hood, adding an air of haute maturity to his quintessential cool kid style.
