Inclusivity: Its rising importance in the US fitness market

Supreme has done it again. Just when we think they have capped out, they come out with another set of decks that has us stoked to stand in line for two days (not really, but you get the point). After successful partnerships with celebrated modern artists like Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince and Marilyn Minter, they have teamed up with renowned conceptual artist, John Baldessari.

Baldessari, an American conceptual artist, born in 1931, has always had a penchant for conceptual mediums. Past notable works include “The Cremation Project” in which he burned all of his paintings made between 53 – 66 and baked the ashes into cookies, he then displayed cookies in urns. No big deal.
Last year, he had a solo show at Marian Goodman Gallery in Paris, where he actually featured some skate-related subject matter in his paintings.

We actually referenced Baldessari in our S/S12 Active Forecast as well, his use of shape and color has always intrigued us. In any case, the decks hit the street on October 7, 2010. Better get the GORE-TEX® out, and pray it doesnt rain, we have a feeling there is going to be a massive queue.
