This year Supreme has hardly been out of the fashion news, there was the Supreme MTA Metrocards that caused Twitter to meltdown and long lines at NYC subway stations, not to mention the Supreme/ Louis Vuitton collab that caused a huge fuss on the blogs with the suggestion that it was a little off brand for the streetwear label.
Both these examples prove that Supreme knows how to make a buzz around each product drop, I mean remember the branded Supreme brick sales at the end of 2016, you know the power of your brand when you can sell a literal brick to consumers.
And so, we come to its next drop the spring collection of its long standing collaboration with NorthFace.
We’ve spoken about the appeal of this collab before on WGSN Insider, as it causes round-the-block (overnight) queues for the latest outerwear and winter pieces.
And this spring 2017 drop is expected to be no different, so here’s what you need to know:
1. It arrives in-store in NY, LA, London, Paris and online on Thursday 30th March. Fans in Japan will be able to access it on Saturday 1st April.
2. The new silhouettes and accessories within the collection consist of the Trans Antarctica Expedition Pullover, Pant, Fleece Jacket, Big Haul Backpack and Headband (complete with reflective patches, so you can prove just how lit you are in a dark nightclub room, or a wintery night).
3. Prices range from $54 for the headband to $488 for the Gore-Tex Pullover.
