The latest collaboration reflects both brands’ aesthetics and is certain to be in high demand when its released this week. WGSN Denim Editor Samuel Trotman reports
This week, Supreme will release its latest capsule collection with Japanese mainstay Comme des Garçons SHIRT. The A/W 15/16 release will mark the 4th collaborative effort between the two brands since their first co-branded collection back in A/W 12. Looking to be one of the most sought after collections to date, the collection sees a perfect alignment of both brands aesthetics, with Comme’s 1990s style plaids and seasonal branding bold-text print on a range of streetwear staples like hooded sweatshirts, work jackets and button-down shirts.
Any fans looking to get hold of pieces from the collection need not fret, as the collection will be available via through both Supreme and Dover Street Market stores as well as webstores for both labels. Look for the collection to launch Thursday, September 24 at Dover Street Market, Dover Street Market New York, I.T Beijing Market and online on the DSML and DSMNY E-SHOPS. You’ll also be able to shop the collection at Supreme’s NY, LA and London locations, as well as online, on September 24. Those of us in Japan can look forward to the release on September 26.
