It seems like the summer was taken over by superhero movies across the country with releases of The Dark Knight, Spider-Man, and more. Just in time, many sneaker brands are jumping in on the action with licensed kicks to reflect our childhood dreams. From subtle color and texture plays, to all-out comic book covered, these sneakers are sure to brighten any inner-child’s day!
As part of a contest online, Nike created an exclusive Paranorman Foamposite 1 in conjunction with the release of the film. The brand gave away 800 pairs to fans that could prove that #weirdwins to deserve the kicks. Over 80,000 fans entered.
Converse has also recently joined in on the fun with its Superman Chuck Taylor. Having released previous editions featuring the likes of Batman, Superman and The Flash, this is a great addition to the lineup. Available from smaller retailers such as Size? in a smaller run than the first drop.

Reebok, known for doing comic-collabs, is also in on the game this season. Recently Reebok ambassador Swizz Beatz himself was caught tweeting the new Spider-Man make-up of the Reebok Pump Twilight Zone.
Last, but not least, streetwear label BAPE has hopped in with its Spider-Man collection. Including apparel, footwear and accessories, the collection spans two main looks (including a hybrid of its signature camo) for a rounded-out selection.
