New York: Suno’s Erin Beatty and Max Osterweis presented their usual mix of texture and print this season, evolving the the look with substantial layering. Silhouettes were boxy or rounded and cropped or elongated, and worked together to create an easy, carefree air. Dirndls, little jackets and shapely sheaths in a pale palette of shimmering jaquard were simply lovely, while tomboyish shirts and shorts in plain weave cotton were a refreshing juxtaposition to the soft femininity of it all. —Anna Jane Davis
