Milan…Never what one would call a particularly innovative collection, you can always count on Dean and Dan Caten to deliver a wonderfully entertaining show and certainly a well-styled assortment. For S/S 10, the brothers built on what they know best from their Canadian childhood: camping. As the models piled out of tents looking sleepy and ready for a new day of fishing, hunting and building fires, it was quickly clear that it was all about styling. The nicely colored outerwear stood out most along with their choice of using tights under destroyed denim shorts. The most interesting concept was how the twins always manage to present a few looks that have just the right mix of casual and formal (a tuxedo jacket and tie with camo cargo shorts) to really move the collection forward and yet remain relevant to the trends of tomorrow.
