Styling trend: How to rock two-tone denim

Blame it on Vetements, might as well be the saying of the summer. The fashion industry’s go-to brand is transforming what we wear and presenting us with a handful of key cult items (DHL t-shirt anyone?) to obsess over.  Its two-tone remade vintage jean was the success story of last summer kickstarting the brand’s ‘one-to-watch-status’ that is currently at its peak, and the impact of this sold-out piece has now trickled down to the high street and been reworked again by other luxury retailers.

Since two tone is firmly back, here’s how to style this denim trend.

Opt for two-tone cropped length jeans and oversized boyfriend truckers, or special leather and resin-coated finishes for contrast. Two-tone denim retail offerings are wide and varied from mixed-material panels or laser-etched onto jeans with the knees as a key area of focus.

Style two-tone jeans with plain white tees, or go full double denim. As an anthesis to the hyper-decorated embellished denim and emoji patches, this is a sleek but directional pared down, relaxed look.

Rock it to the office with confidence….
