Stylesight’s Youth Culture team is out in full force at Bread & Butter in Berlin and reported high traffic at yesterday’s opening.
So far, rust browns and mustard yellows have emerged as strong color stories, and the team really likes the many leather and shearling patches, linings, and trims that have been appearing.
For Young Men, Ivy League and college professor looks have been huge influences, as well as applied details and pieces from varsity jackets to other items. For example, an overcoat was outfitted with snap buttons and a varsity collar, and a rugby shirt was decorated by raised, fuzzy varsity letters.
For Juniors, Chelsea boots, shearling, leather items, rust brown, exotic animal skin patterns, and patent leather all felt strong.
Stay tuned for more extensive coverage of the show, in which we’ll highlight key brands and trends in Young Men’s, Junior’s, Denim, Footwear/Accessories and Active assortments.
