Designers continue to pillage the ’80s archive in order to inform today’s trends. Yesterday Proenza Schouler showed tailored separates in a cellophane type fabric that was the sporty tech textile of choice for windbreakers in the Me Decade. I also spotted perennial trendsetter Magda Berliner sporting a little canary yellow top she whipped together in the translucent fabric.
