An inspiring artist popping up on many blogs over the last couple of days is Paul Morstad. His latest works use old forgotten maps as backdrops for some beautiful studies and drawings of local birdlife.
Morstad hails from Vancouver, British Columbia where the landscapes, people, flora and fauna influence his work greatly. His obsessions with maps, zoology and the great outdoors show through in his delicately crafted collage and painted visuals.
