Milan: Ports 1961 delivered a clean collection of polished looks highlighting wardrobe essentials. According to the shownotes, creative director Fiona Cibani explained, “the Ports 1961 woman has two souls inspired by the spirit of the Greek goddess Artemis: one strong and warrior-like; one sensual and feminine.” Crisp shirts were updated with modern bib fronts, sheer layering complemented streamlined silhouettes, pleating created subtle volume, flat buttons and snaps added simple interest. All-in-all Cibani delivered a smart lineup complete with a hint of military and elegant sophistication.–Deirdre Pérez
