Stockholm store Svenskt Tenn has announced the opening of its Christmas Market, selling a beautiful array of Christmas tree decorations, gifts and other items. Designer Carina Seth Andersson was commissioned to make a series of decorations including glass baubles with tassles, paper gourds and brass stars, while 10 objects from Svenskt Tenn’s archives have been introduced, including several Estrid Ericson designs (the store’s founder) inspired by her travels. Examples include two Chinese Ming-era figurines which inspired Ericson to create her own versions in pewter and gold-plating. –Emily Cater
