Renowned Stockholm department store NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) has unveiled four new restaurants, with the interior design by Cilla Ramnek and Martin Edvardsson from Svenskt Tenn’s interior design studio. The new restaurants will be run by Bjorn Frantzen, who owns two of the city’s two-star restaurants. The commission includes the interior design of four different restaurants at NK, and in addition to lighting, furniture and art, Svenskt Tenn has also selected all flooring and ceilings, whilst preserving some of the store’s classic features such as the large round window between the new wine bar and the store’s central atrium. The overall aesthetic is chic and modern, fusing contemporary colour, style and quality materials to create an elegant interior with longevity. –Emily Cater
