Growing in popularity by the second, Swedish fashion chain Monki has expanded from just six stores in Sweden in 2006 to currently encompassing 54 global locations worldwide including Scandinavia, London and Hong Kong. Celebrating the launch of the A/W 12 campaign, Monki has collaborated with photographer Ruvan Wijesooriay (L’Officiel, British/ French Vogue, The New Yorker) celebrating strong independent women in the newest Monki campaign. We love the playful and colorful images shot by Ruvan in New York, depicting a poetic and humorous approach to fashion. A special exhibition at Stockholm concept boutique Snickarbacken 7 features some of the most striking images from the campaign, but hurry- the exhibition is on for a week only and ends this Thursday 26th of April. – Anna Jacobsen
