Starbucks has tapped Alexander Wang, Sophie Theallet and Billy Reid to create limited-edition T-shirts for its 40th anniversary. The three most recent CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners have each come up with a unique design for the $85 T-shirts. Wang’s depicts a coffee stain in the shape of the Starbucks logo, Theallet chose a world map motif and Reid made vintage-y knits for both men and women.
The U.S.-made shirts are available online at Starbucks’ store website, as well as select Nordstrom stores. While Starbucks has done collaborations around music—from creating one-off compilations to selecting particular artists’ albums to sell at the register—this is the first major initiative that the coffee chain has cooked up around fashion.
