French designer Sonia Rykiel — or “La Reine du Tricot” (The Queen of Tricot) — is at it again with her second collaboration with H&M, launching in stores worldwide this week. After Rykiel’s successful retro-inspired lingerie collection for the Swedish fast-fashion fave sold out within hours this past December, her newest collection of colorful knits for women and children are sure to inspire similar flights of fashion frenzy. The collection showcases Rykiel’s mastery of knit garments with feminine flourishes like bias ruffling, glitzy rhinestones and colorful stripes. In addition to the expected sweaters and cardigans, there are also jumpsuits, sailor shorts, and leggings in a palette of black, yellow, fuchsia, orange, and cotton candy pink, with accessories to match (plastic bracelets, rhinestone-studded belts, and more). For more information on the collection, visit H&M online.
