The simplicity of the mini dress (with the occasional pantsuit thrown in) didn’t look as one-dimensional for his fall collection. Schwab created an explosion of shapes with folds, treatments and add-ons. Gathers at the waist were placed on one side with rays of lines beaming from the hip. A fold at the neckline sliced the body asymmetrically in a rainbow of colors. Marbled, long-sleeved versions in fuchsia and violet were segmented by an added pleat below the waist. The stand-out outerwear piece was fur in bright colors like turquoise and flame red.
