Short and Sweet

London…Marios Schwab

The simplicity of the mini dress (with the occasional pantsuit thrown in) didn’t look as one-dimensional for his fall collection. Schwab created an explosion of shapes with folds, treatments and add-ons. Gathers at the waist were placed on one side with rays of lines beaming from the hip. A fold at the neckline sliced the body asymmetrically in a rainbow of colorsMarbled, long-sleeved versions in fuchsia and violet were segmented by an added pleat below the waist. The stand-out outerwear piece was fur in bright colors like turquoise and flame red.

This is one of those collections that inspires me with color. There is an artistic feel to some pieces like the marbled effect, and the graphic looking prints.
