Sound & Vision is the new solo art exhibition from Shepard Fairey – creator of the global streetwear brand, Obey. The show features a range of new works including mixed media paintings on canvas, works on paper, retired stencil collages, rublith cuts, serigraphs on wood, and metal on paper.
The exhibit’s title, Sound & Vision, is taken from a David Bowie song of the same title, as Bowie has had a huge influence on Fairey.
The show incorporates a diverse array of mixed media works that embody Fairey’s political and social influences, particularly those directly inspired by music.
The exhibition is on display from October 19th through November 4th at StolenSpace Gallery.
