White’s winning success at the 2011 Winter X-Games demonstrated his edgy sense of style, panache in the marketplace and zest for popularity – which apparently isn’t solely influencing his own sport of snowboarding, but mainstream culture as a whole. The Active Team has been following White’s steadfast achievements and recognizes his momentum, so it’s no surprise that rock ‘n roll two-piece and recent Grammy winners, The Black Keys, knocked on the door of the Olympic gold medalist to star in a cameo role for the band’s recent video for their hit single, “Howlin’ for You”. White also recently ranked number two…that’s right, you heard correctly…on the Bloomberg Businessweek Power 100 ranking of the most marketable athletes in sports.
