As the season of good will and giving approaches a nice collaboration has emerged between Selfish Mother (the blogline started by Molly Gunn) x (clothing company) The Bonniemob entitled “Mother Love”. This cotton/cashmere capsule of matching adult sweats and baby rompers come in simple colour ways of black or charcoal with gold lurex or hot orange intarsia slogan (meaning that they are fun and gender neutral for your children, no pink or blue in sight).
It’s already a hit with a few UK celebrities, including Zoe Ball and BBC Radio 6 music DJ Lauren Lavern. Better yet, it’s fashion with a good cause, from the sale of each romper £10 (or £30 from the twin gift sets) will go to the charity Refugee Support Europe which helps support pregnant women who have to give birth in refugee camps to have some quality, clean and safe bonding time with their new born babies.
Speaking about the collab Molly Gunn of Selfish Mother said: “Our LOVE collab knit is not only super cosy with a dash of gold lurex but also raises funds for Refugee Support Europe.”
If you are in the market to gift a family this holiday season, this is a nice little collab, that looks great and will make you feel pretty damn good too (aka the best type of gift).
