Seeing Red

The Palais Garnier’s first ever restaurant, L’Opéra, designed by Parisian architect Odile Decq has just opened its doors.

The organically designed space has been decorated in the architect’s favorite color, a bold and classic primary that recalls red carpet premieres. Mesmerizing forms and stuctures meld seamlessly with the opulent design of the elaborate 19th-century building, a perfect juxtaposition of old and new. The menu was designed by Michelin-starred chef Christophe Aribert, offering a gastronomic feast that rivals the visual one already on display.

Open daily for dinner.
