Following our initial preview of the sale last week, below is a selection of vault favorites from the vintage Schiaparelli accessories sale on 1stDibs.com, covering everything from her awning-inspired cat eye frames to quirky parure sets that capture the best of 50s-era cocktail hour costume jewelry. Surreal brooches from the 30s round out the selection, a fitting compliment to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute newly-opened exhibit on the late designer and her contemporary (presumed) counterpart, Miuccia Prada, Impossible Conversations, through August 19th, 2012.
