Over the last couple of weeks we’ve seen some great denim inspiration from the runways of both Stockholm and Copenhagen. Four key shows stood out for denim inspiration and innovation: Wood Wood, Soulland, Cheap Monday and Dr. Denim.
Playing with scale, indigo on indigo stripes and tonal blue outfit combinations, Wood Wood showed a particularly strong denim collection for S/S 11.
Dr. Denim added military references to their characteristically preppy aesthetic for S/S 11.
Soulland designer Silas Adler mixed strong 50s leisurewear looks with a distinct workwear touch and strong Scandinavian craftsmanship.
Cheap Monday Looked at Latin denim fashions and Italian diamante with L.A. celebrity taste as their style guide.
