Milan: Sass and glamour were on the menu for the Blumarine girl for fall. So long to the days of Anna Molinari’s  romantic frills and girly silhouettes: a collection full of fur and sparkle, inspired by Warhol muse Baby Jane Holze,  that gave a nod to an artisanal rebellion. Hemlines on party dresses were decidedly risqué and came in draped lurex, rose fil coupé, floral print chain mail and ombré silk. Outerwear balanced the proportions of the silhouettes and gave the collection a contemporary edge: a chevron-patterned ankle length coat came in brown and black leather with a wrap of glossy black fox fur running down the front. Cozy oversized cardigans came in mink and dubbed pastel tones, whilst a sexy satin suit came in a mannish cut and felt powerful and sexy- for the woman in charge. – Anna Ross
