Gucci Museo‘s three week long exhibition and boutique pops up in Brazil, just in time for the World Cup. The recently opened temporary museum in the JK Iguatemi mall replicates the permanent Gucci Museo space in Florence with its dark, masculine interiors punctuated by Gucci‘s trademark florals and red and green. Forever Now focuses on the jet set lifestyle and the legacy of travel at the storied Italian house, featuring contemporary and archival trunks, suitcases and accessories arranged as art object. Browse archival images, video installations and the histories of iconic pieces such as the Bamboo bag (born out of WWII materials rationing). Also featured is an haute couture section with stunning displays of Frida Giannini’s best work and the bespoke Made to Measure section for menswear. – Chris Tsuyuki
