São Paulo: Yesterday’s Neon show has been one of our favorites so far at São Paulo Fashion Week. Sold at hot shops like Opening Ceremony and Surface to Air, Neon has become a hit with the hip, downtown set in São Paulo and is quickly developing a cult following overseas. The S/S 12 collection embraced several key trends that have been in the zeitgeist as of late – Mod, African, Constructivism, scuba, vibrant colors, retro-inspired swimwear – all mixed in an exuberant yet elegant fashion that was distinctly Neon.
São Paulo and Rio fashion weeks serve up some of the most directional swimwear in the world, and we’ll be breaking down the trends in an upcoming Runway Classifications. In the meantime, watch this space for more intimate updates from São Paulo Fashion Week and Salão Moda Brasil, or log onto Stylesight Brazil’s Twitter page for up-to-the-minute commentary.
