Milan…Angela Missoni continues her evolution of the Missoni man each season with surprisingly wearable options that make the house’s trademark print and pattern take a supporting role to interesting silhouettes and innovative fabrics. For S/S 10, Missoni sent its ideal man on an adventure around the world, drawing in various global influences as he went. Dusty, exaggerated sneakers were the first indication of his long journey. Many of the knits were seemingly sewn together with washed and faded bits of fabric, creating a kaleidoscope of opportunities. To counteract the complex jacquards, Missoni introduced broken-in chambray, which both modernized the classic Italian looks while also “cooling” the sun-kissed colors.
