LONDON…Newcomers Philip Colbert and Richard Ascott have come onto the fashion stage with a well executed gimmick as well as solidly wearable collections for Juniors. Despite this extensive travel, their antics didn’t seem to distract from clothing design, as their recent show proved cohesive and playful. Hand drawn illustrations, short skirt lengths, bowler hats and a red, white and back palette resulted in a mod, yet modern presentation.
