The much-anticipated collaboration between Rodarte and Opening Ceremony finally hit stores last week, and to our glee, the collection serves up plenty of covetable swimwear, hosiery and lingerie-inspired looks. The sisters channel the luxe leisure trend with “pajama” pants and button-ups, robe-like dresses, camis and tap pants – all printed with dusty calico florals similar to their F/W 2010 collection. With its relaxed retro silhouettes and wallpaper florals, the swimwear has a similar sweet girlish charm.
The designers continue their foray into hosiery with a new take on “long johns,” which features sweater knit tights pieced and patched with buttons. Tattoo-printed tights also borrow from their F/W 2010 with icons collected from their trip through the Southwest and the troubled border town of Ciudad Juárez. See the rest of the collection here.
