Last weekend Rising Sun & Co. invited their friends down to celebrate the re-birth of America’s denim heritage with the grand re-opening of their Fair Park Avenue store.
From the pictures we received from the good folks over at Rising Sun & Co., it seemed that all the sweat and graft from the reinstallation of the new workshop paid off last Saturday as they celebrated their grand re-opening. Throwing a party in true American style, the Rising Sun guys brought in the new era of the brand with friends, family, and fans at an evening showcasing America’s rich denim culture.
Local musician and friend Timbo of Speedbuggy, set the tone for the evening, playing a hot-rod soundtrack to a denim heavy crowd who sipped on good ‘ole bourbon whiskey and took in the latest evolution of the Pasadena store. Adding to the mix, sculptor Jeff Decker displayed his vintage Motorcycle Club Cuts and some of his infamous bronze sculptures. Outside, guests marveled over the exhibition of bitchin’ rides and pre-50’s iron courtesy of DicE Magazine.
If you’re in the California area and looking for some vintage inspiration, we highly recommend checking out Rising Sun & Co., where you can browse handcrafted collections in an authentic American setting.
