Rihanna Revs up New York Fashion Week

New York: A trio of moto-cross drivers circling through the air set the pace for an electrifying Fenty x Puma collection. Inspired by X Games with a hint of surf, Rihanna sent out a covetable collection of youth-centric pieces, seeing hardware-strapped anorak’s meet panelled scuba onesies, while swimwear curved high over the hips under low-slung cargo 90’s.

Rihanna ramped up her colour game, pairing navy blue tech’s with a shocking pink trim, while lime green fluoro faced the edges of parka’s utility update. Footwear was a highlight, Rihanna pushed the brand away from just-sneakers, seeing branded Puma stilettos sexed up in rubber or thigh-high leathers with biker detailing.

There was plenty of selfie-ready details too; peekaboo lacing climbed up the legs of high-waist leggings, while corset-style dresses and slimline skirts offered sheer detailing in all the right places. Perhaps the sexiest of looks came in less obvious forms; take Joan Smalls, for example, head-to-toe in form fitting moto-cross leathers – an image which won’t leave the minds of many for a long time! – Anna Ross
