NEW YORK…Although Rebecca Taylor’s S/S 09 collection was a bit too bohemian to be directional, the looks she presented were perfect for a certain type of girl and an apt distillation of what she wants to wear. Pretty is the key word here, expressed by floaty layers, pleated minis and floral prints. Short and flirty silhouettes, as well as body skimming cropped trousers cemented the youthful feeling of this presentation, while keeping it current. Mixing textures and prints, Taylor added depth and the kind of playfulness juniors seek.
