Inspired by Gucci’s own heritage, the 1970’s collection pulls from the archives and creates the 1970’s shoulder bags. With art deco influences found in the small golden plaques and a gold chain as the common denominators in three shapes, the bags are offered in bold colored nubuck and strike the perfect balance of vintage aesthetics and contemporary function.
The new collection was inspired, in part, by the brand’s Creative Director Frida Giannini, a brand spokesperson stated that the bag represented: ” a new signature of the glamour and singular elegance that characterize Creative Director Frida Giannini’s Spring Summer 2012 collection.”
The collection is available in-store and online now.
